Admissions

Mariposa Montessori admits new children on a first-come, first-served basis.  Our enrollment process allows families to tour the facility and meet with the administration, giving us an opportunity to assess specific requirements of the children and their families. Returning children and siblings may be given priority in registration.

We believe the relationship between home and school is vital to a successful preschool experience.  As the parents share pertinent information with the director regarding their child, the director can determine a match between the needs of the child and the appropriate classroom. Mariposa Montessori reserves the right to not admit a child to a specific classroom if the placement is not deemed appropriate for the child.

Once a match is made, the necessary documents for enrollment are given to the family.  All paperwork, including a physician’s report and immunization information, must be completed prior to the child’s first day at the school.
